Was pleasantly surprised, everything was really good! Different flavors too from typical taco/Mexican restaurants. You order at the counter, and they will bring you the food. Nice, casual atmosphere. They have a sauce bar which we all enjoyed. The chips were good too. My favorite was the chipotle chicken hard tacos. Definitely will pop back in next time we’re in town.

My family had a great lunch at the Laurens Tacos & Bla Bla Bla location today. Very personable staff and wonderful food. Jamie was super sweet and helpful. My daughter loves the shrimp nachos. I normally have a carne asada torta which is huge and always tasty but today I opted for a corn tortilla carne asada taco with a ton of toppings and Mexican street corn on the cob. I was very happy with my choices. As a family we ordered the fried avocado and a large guacamole. The avocado is lightly fried to give a little crunch before melting in your mouth and comes with a nice chipotle sauce for dipping. The guacamole is a chunky variety not the puree guacamole you find in most Mexican restaurants. It complemented the hot fresh chips very well. My daughter’s shrimp tacos were very large portions leaving her full with plenty of leftovers for later. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband tried the #3 – which was three flour tacos with bacon and shrimp a little kick of spice. We were all pleased with our food and experience today.

The food is excellent. The atmosphere is a little overwhelming with 2 songs playing super loudly in the restaurant, I don’t understand that decision. Great food as long as they get it to you straight away. Of the 3 times I’ve been, only once did it take ages to get my taco salad. They called the wait staff up 3 times to get the meal, apparently no one else was working the floor except for one person.

One star for the take out service. Consistently wrong order fulfillment. There is always something wrong with the order. We only order for 2 and they never get it correct. Sometimes we even order the same thing for both of us and they still get it wrong. And when you get right down to it, the food isn’t all that great either. It beats taco bell. But not much else.
