I ordered “Sopes” I was very disappointed since this is a basic and easy Mexican dish to make. As for other items on the Menu I’m still going with 2 stars review. Service was great though.

I would completely skip out on here. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, and they use canned chicken. It was dry and nasty. The enchilada sauce didn’t taste good either. When my husband asked the lady how they make the chicken, she started talking to him in Spanish, so the other customer in there won’t hear what they were talking about. She said she sees the chef prepare the chicken breast and cut it up in tiny squares… Then right after we used the bathroom and heard the lady asking the chef if it was canned chicken, and he said yes. She lied to us. She was very rude too. We greeted her in Spanish to order, and she talked to us in English, but when we had a problem she was speaking in Spanish, so the other customers won’t understand what we were saying. Horrible. Just save your money and don’t eat here.

We had a birthday party for 50 people catered by Tacos Chava. The owner was awesome and helped us decide on what to order. They had everything prepared on time and it wad delicious. All the toppings and sauces provided with the tacos were a nice surprise!!

Love them!! Everything tasted great and grateful that we could do take-out right now. I love the local business feeling! We ordered carnitas and carne asada. The corn tortillas tasted so fresh! And the sweet gal at the front gave us lots of extra cilantro and onions!

If you work, live, or drive through Entiat, Tacos Chava is worth the stop if you want a simple authentic experience. Although not always available, the carnitas are some of the best I have ever had. I am always greeting with a smile and a bit of friendly banter and the prices are extremely reasonable.

I am so disappointed in the food here. I am shocked to read all the positive reviews people have left. I don’t usually ever complain about Mexican food but this food was bad enough to make me sick afterwards. I will not be going back.

Showed up at 6 p.m. looked at the new menu they have and was rudely informed that they closed at seven p.m. And the camarone dishes takes 20 minutes to cook. So I’m like o.k. no biggie I will have the carne asada. Got the dish and it was barely enough for two Tacoes, half slice of smooched avacodo and the tortillas were cold and hard. Disappointed with this place.

My friend and I stopped in here on way home from Chelan/Stehekin. I got the carnitas and was surprised to have some of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of Mexico (I have worked in Chiapas). Affordable, quick, tan delicioso!!!! This is the real deal. The salsa bar is fantastic.. I can’t wait to figure out how to get back there. Hikers: a must-stop after any trip in the mountains.
