Worth the 25 min drive! One of the best Valley restaurants and I have been to many. Homemade food! You will get a variety of different salsas. Humble place, but rich food, tortillas, not from the plastic bag, but authentic, as is the salsa. This is REAL Mexican food. If you know good food, you WILL be back.

My companion and I stopped for lunch after birding Bensten State Park. Fantastic fresh food. Tacos Canasta was delicious. My companion had the gorditas which I tried as well. The masa had a nice crust on the outside and was very filling. The taco slaw was crisp and full of fresh cilantro. The host was very friendly and excited to share her additional menu items with us including breakfast.

This place is Mexican tacos with 5 different chile sauce and home made nachos chips. The taste was very very delicious flavored. No heart burns. It’s cozy small waitress very attentive Spanish/ English. The cost is a $$ costly but worth it. If you come. Come at your own risk.
