Let me start off by saying the customer service was great. Our server came to our table multiple times to make sure that everything was good, which I appreciate. The food came out pretty fast, but it did not affect the quality. The food was very flavorful and it over exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for great Mexican food don’t skip this place they won’t disappoint.

Really enjoyed the vibe. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was very sweet. Food was good. Charro beans were delicious. My quesadillas were so tasty and the meat had great flavor.

Hands down some of the best tasting meats in the Pasadena area, still savoring the delicious Trompo . We ordered the Friday special which included two beef tostatadas , a very nice portion of menudo & a drink;all for 10$ ! We also ordered the” Monterrey 400 ” which came with a very generous portion of both beef carna asada and Trompo ,grilled onions , asadero quesadilla cheese topped with avocado and HOMEMADE corn tortillas . Additionally we ordered a side order of rice and a chips with queso which was delicious as well/ CHARROS ARE FREE .(TOTAL COST 40 $ FEEDS 4 ) All and all I rate Tacos de Julio a 9.5. The .5 deduction is because I have to agree with some of the bad ratings listed. Our waitress was great but seemed overwhelmed. I watched my food sit there for about 2-4 minutes until finally a man who looked like he may be a manager came and told one of the girls to bring it to my table. Note:I seen three girls standing in the front many times just talking while our waitress was busy trying to keep up .The team was present but no TEAM WORK. DELICIOUS FOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND !

Came to have lunch with friends. We all ordered the tacos de trompo, and they were good. They don’t give chips and salsa like most places. They give you a little bowl of charro beans. That was different to me, but the beans were good. We didn’t wait long for our food to come out after we ordered. Our waitress was attentive to us. The green salsa was really good. I forgot to take a pic before digging in ♀️. Overall, everything was good, and I would definitely like to come again and try something else.

THIS PLACE IS SOOOO GOOD! We ordered for lunch today at work and I’m so happy. The tacos are so flavorful, I got trompo and tlaquepaque, meat was delicious, salsas are good and had a little spice, green enchiladas were good and very full of chicken, and I don’t even like beans and both the charro and refried beans my order came with were AMAZING and had so much flavor. Flan is not bad! The prices are unbeatable also so definitely try this place out if you’re looking for a great meal!

First Time here. The service was great. The food was great. We had a large birthday celebration of 18 and the accommodated well for us. They start you off with some real tasty, delicious beans. They have weekly happy hour specials. I will have to come by and try their lunch special too.
