Good tacos, but not quite living up to the storied hype. TDR is the original taco stand in SLC. This storefront is their attempt at continuity as their stand faces an uncertain future. Unfortunately, I don’t think the food is quite good enough compared to other tacos available today. The carnitas were not moist enough and did not have much flavor. They also loaded my tacos with onions and cilantro to an absurd level. That said, they are very cheap tacos. The staff were nice. The shop was small but a fine place for lunch. It was pretty smoky in there at the time.

Im so glad thee iconic taco cart of Slc has a storefront in my neighborhood! And kept its incredible affordable taco cart prices. Absolutely better than Rivas, Betos, etc., with better prices, better flavor, and a cuter little dine-in area. Though it’s not listed on the menu, there are vegan / vegetarian options too! Plus they’re super fast. Nothing but good things to say! Please support this restaurant so they can stay!

The tacos are good but not amazing, definitely worth the affordable prices though! They’re the best street tacos I’ve had in the Holladay/Millcreek area (though that’s not saying much). The service is good but staff don’t speak English (I don’t mind but I know that there are some that would).

Very cheap and it shows. I would be surprised if there weren’t health code violations up and down this place. Open air salt in bowls on the tables with pieces of food in them, food is overly salted on every single meat, and service was lackluster. Only tried the tacos so who knows, but that is supposed to be their signature dish, so do with that l what you will.
