Great place for authentic Mexican food! Had a craving for tacos and went here on a whim. The restaurant was pretty clean and just feels like a fast food dining area. Service was nice and fast, and we got our orders in quickly and our food shortly afterwards. I got the taco trio with steak, chorizo, and chicken as my meat choices. I also tried out their quesadilla. The table came with chips and salsa. The food was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an authentic taste, look no further! I definitely recommend it!

It’s gone downhill and food has been cheapened out. We used to eat frequently here and it used to be pretty great, sometimes the food would taste like it’s been sitting out too long, but it personally only made my partner sick sometimes, but never me. And I loved that it used to be affordable and had great portion sizes.

We had Tacos El Cunado cater our wedding in June 2023 and it was a phenomenal experience. They were incredibly flexible to work with and truly let us choose every part of the menu without a bunch of extra fees. They offered to bring their own tables, and even put chips and guac/salsa on each of the tables for our guests which was a great touch! Our guests raved about how kind the servers were, and generous with portions. And we had TONS of leftovers for people to take home! A great option for all ages and very allergy-friendly. I would highly recommend this team to cater your next big event, we didn’t have to worry about a thing!

I ordered breakfast catering from Tacos El Cunado and they were spectacular. On time delivery, an abundance of food, and a huge hit. Delivery was very professional and the food was great temperature upon arrival. Will definitely use again!

Food was fine, not terribly impressed for the price. Best part of the meal was definitely the charro beans. Some of it spilled in the bag for takeout so be careful if you’re driving home with the food and not eating in. The atmosphere is not the coziest so it may be worth it to get the food to go.

2 barbacoa and 1 steak Taco with beans and rice. Pretty good overall. Would probably choose the steak next time. Chips and salsa were decent too. Waiter was very polite and let me practice speaking Spanish with him when ordering. The food was between 3 and 4 stars.

I’m from Chicago, I have been in Grand Rapids, Mi. since 1990 and have not been able to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant here, well I just did! This place is it, it reminds me of the authentic Mexican food in Chicago that I miss so much. Bravo!

So by chance we stopped here for lunch. This is a very clean restaurant. All the staff wore their masks appropriately. We had our meal to go. The food was good tasting and fresh. The desserts looked awesome! Would stop again.
