Finally, a restaurant that sells something close to street tacos. The tacos are priced correctly, especially for being located on the east side of town. Taco Tuesday is $2.5 per taco.

We came for a late lunch on a Saturday to grab a quick taco. The ambiance was nice and looked clean. The waitress was not very interested in us, as it took her quite a while to bring chips and take our order (there were only 2 occupied tables besides ours). I ordered 2 veggie tacos and told her no dairy. I also ordered a side of rice, and she wrote it down as rice and beans. When the food came, the rice and beans had cheese on them, which I promptly sent back. my husband had to ask for red sauce twice before she finally brought it. After we finished eating, we ended up going to the register to ask for the bill, because she never brought that either. She probably should not be waiting tables.

You can bet on 3 things in this life: Death, Taxes, and me coming here to eat at least 2x a week: What can I say? Amazing food, great prices, great staff, it is all great. Competitive location close to my job and work. Food was so fresh it burned my greedy mouth (as does most things we love). Know I know why this restaurant comes up first on google when I search “food near me”. One of the best salsas in Michigan.

I found a new favorite in Grand Rapids! The server was so sweet, ran outside to make sure I had the tortillas (carry out night). The Carne Asada was delicious! Nice sized serving, delicious guacamole, the red onions were pickles and spicy (yum), and the cactus and grilled onions made the meal over the top!

Great food. Had the fish tacos. The fish tasted fresh and cooked well. The 3 tacos were loaded up with veggies with a side. Reasonably priced. Nice ambience. Had a chocolate flan cake which was fantastic.

The food tasted incredible, my dad and I both got an item called the speedy Gonzales, it had an enchilada, a taco and a huge plate of beans, rice, and salad. I’m only like half Mexican, but I felt at home here. The staff was very kind, they were all very professional. And I loved the whole old west tex-mex theme they had going on. Overall great experience. 10/10

First time at Tacos El Cuñado. The service was great. Ezequiel was amazing. The food order was placed and came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend for great authentic Mexican food. My wife and I found another 5 star dining establishment.

From the beginning to end it is great! The salsa is super flavorful (a little wet but not an issue). Their tacos are authentic and delicious. They are super fast but do not rush you at all!

My date and I were so excited to get tacos for lunch. Service sucked. Food was good. We arrived before the crowd, and were seated by a friendly woman. A different woman was our waitress. I had asked if she had any personal recommendations, this is something I like to ask every waitress, and there was no enthusiasm as she basically read down the menu. My date asked for a soda that never arrived. After receiving our food, our waitress never returned or made eye contact. When the table next to us got their bill and had arrived after us, we stood up and went to check out. The woman at the counter trying to help us get rung up couldn’t even get the attention of our waitress but kindly got us out of there quickly. The windows were filthy with fingerprints. The menus were full of crumbs. Our table wobbled, despite someone else previously stuffing a napkin under one leg. I was not impressed and probably won’t come back.

I love tacos but this was a little gross not overly gross and the employees were really nice just something to maybe change but maybe you’ll like it I don’t know the guac was a little gross. The tacos were fine, but not that good. Maybe you could change your recipe and it will be good. I will still give you a second chance.
