Food was pretty good but the restaurant has no AC so beware in the summer. We got the chicken quesadilla, birria tacos, and a carne asada chimichanga. All were fine but we’ve had better. Best part was there salsa bar!

The Birria Tacos were amazing. Other favorites include carnitas tacos, mulitas, ceviche tostadas, and I often get the chiles rellenos. I also, get the Ramen Birria Tacos every few weeks. They have a great salsa station that allows you to customize your meal and dial in the heat just the way you like it. Try the red onions on a carnitas taco! The line was short and service was fast. If you find this review helpful please help me by giving it a thumbs up.

Had the chiles rellenos for lunch and it was really good. Served with a rich sauce, rice and beans, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas.

The food was delicious and fresh and just what we wanted. I ordered the huarache and my husband and kiddos ordered burritos and we were all happy customers. The service was especially professional and kind and the food came out especially quickly. And yes, they have a salsa bar, Mexican Coca-cola, and good guac. ¡High five, Tacos El Guero! Thank you!

Excited to finally see some authentic Mexican food come to Kamas! I’ve been a huge fan of Tacos El Guero ever since they first came to Heber City. When I heard the owner, Jose, was opening up a 2nd location in Kamas, I had to come out to support and make sure it was as good as it is in Heber. Well, they did not disappoint! When I saw one of the head cooks, Romero, from the Heber location, I instantly knew I was in good hands. You don’t want to miss out on the best Mexican food Kamas and Heber Valley has to offer! Thanks again, Jose!

Imagine the Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme — but with good cheese and real beef. BAM! That’s the quesa tostada de birria at Tacos El Guero. Amazing creation. This place is legit. Done without worry.

I love the owner of this spot! Great guy and very hospitable. I want to give this restaurant 5 stars, but I also want to provide constructive feedback to assist in the growth of the business. The manager that runs this location is not friendly whatsoever. I ordered mixed meat fajitas to-go and when I got home it was chicken. There is a substantial price difference in these items, so I called him immediately to let him know and just asked that when I came back if I could just get a comparable discount on my next meal. When I returned the next day to purchase a meal, he accused me of lying. No need to explain why this is not appropriate if you know anything about the F&B industry. This was not the only instance with the manager I did not appreciate. In addition, my stomach has not processed the food well in many instances. I have wondered if there is a better process for holding the meat they keep on the line. Not sure what they do, this is solely a hunch. One other thing I’d like to mention, please provide water cups to your guest complimentary. Why charge for water when it’s a custom in America to receive water in restaurants ? I do feel the portion sizes and charging for chips and water are not comparable to other restaurants in the area that provide similar menu items. They do have a yummy salsa bar, but a complimentary portion of chips would be appreciate to enjoy the selection. I believe giving a little to the consumer, you’ll receive a lot more business in the future. Again, I really like the owner and his attempt at delivering authentic Mexican food to our community.
