The service was very friendly. I tried several tacos to go. The portions of the meat on the taco are very small but again you’re paying three dollars a taco. It is a small bright inside Eating area. They also have a drive-through. The sauces are very good

Been on the peninsula for 3 years and this is the best Mexican food I’ve tried. Nothing fancy, but delicious. I can’t speak to authenticity, but for me the flavor was there! The restaurant was very clean as well. I’ll go back for sure!

For months, I watched this place go from a beat up, falling apart, run down building to a wonderful little hot spot.

I read through the bad reviews and could only think maybe they thought this was Taco Bell.

Absolutely I do not recommend this please do not! I had a quesadilla and for some reason some parts of the chicken inside were extremely salty whilst others were plain so that means the chicken was seasoned at random prior to being equally seasoned before cooking. The other thing is why on earth do they serve it with a random tomato and lettuce on top like it’s a sandwich? The tortilla could alse have been actually warmed up. I actually had a stomach ache after this and at this point I am certainly not going back. I am not sure why they also placed a random piece of pickled carrot it’s hysterical and folded lemon was given to me for the quesadilla. I asked for pollo asado (grilled chicken) not broiled because I personally do not like the chicken making the tortilla soggy let me add all the juice was coming out of the quesadilla haha. I am so sorry I don’t even know where to further continue on how bad it was. Quesadillas don’t need lemon. Also the plates used were so flimsy I almost spilled the food on myself. My friend had a regular pollo asado (grilled chicken) burrito and his burrito was also salty as could be he could not finish that thing. The horchata my buddy ordered did not taste like horchata was watered downed I believe it’s due to the excess of ice. The only thing that was ok was the tamarindo. We paid almost $40 for this and this is not something I will ever do again at this location. Please I am unsure how anyone deems this as authentic Mexican food haha I should have cooked at home that day but we were willing to try this location. Please guys learn to make authentic Mexican food with Mexican people / recipes and then compare and you’ll understand they’re not authentic at all. Now the tacos at el Jalisciense in Salinas was amazing I am unsure of everything else there however el Jalisciense in seaside is certainly not one I would like to test again sincerely—my stomach. 🙂 not worth your money.

This place is okay but probably will be going back to other places after giving this a try. Tacos were okay but service was meh!

So so yummy! Wish they had combos so I could taste more offerings. Also wish they had bigger condiment cups for my side of sour cream. The pickled carrots that are only intended to garnish are to DIE FOR.

One of our favorite taco spots in Monterey/seaside area. It’s between this and Baldemiros. The asada and carnitas are my favorites but you really can’t go wrong with any of them, they’re all pretty bomb.

The In-N-Out burger joint for tacos. Limited menu smal tortilla tacos for $2.50. Go there for Tuesdays they are $1.50. Great taste but not worth the value for the small tacos.

Good and Authentic Mexican food, best in the area. I really don’t get the bad reviews, the food is really good, I can’t say much about the service. We have done drive thru every time (about 8x), yes there was 2x when there was a mistake (no salsa and forgot 1 taco). But this is a new store and still working out kinks. We lived in Mexico for about a year and yes this not as good….but it’s the closest in the Peninsula. My suggestion check you order before leaving and get it drive-thru!
