Like many others, we’ve driven past this place several times and always commented on how we should eat there. Well, we finally got their takeout…. and why did we wait so long? So far we’ve had the pupusas, tacos, burrito and quesadilla. Everything was top notch, I want to keep going back to try different combos. The missus also enjoyed the veggie only options. Although the pricing at the restaurant is slightly more than the website, it is still very affordable for what you get.

The food/meat is cooked perfectly! The only thing is seasoning sometimes isn’t there depending on the day, so it’s not consistent. I like spice, but for my tacos out of 5, I’d prefer it to be at a 3 or 4. The sauces are too spicy that, again, lack a depth of flavor. Because of that, the sauce doesn’t really bring out the flavor of the meat. The drinks are very good! My favorite by far! The meat and drinks is so good that I come back all the time!

I got the tacos which were delicious. The asada wasn’t fatty and had lots of flavor. The portions were great for the price. They give you a jalapeno and onion grilled. 5 out of 5 and I’ll definitely be back. I didn’t quite understand the drive thru which is where the 3 stars comes in.

Went here while on vacation, and the food was fantastic. We got several different tacos, all of which were fantastic. We ordered the Asada, Pollo, Al Pastor, Cabeza, and the Lengua. All of which, were amazing. The sauces were also very good.

They have the best authentic tacos, burritos and quesadillas! The menu is small but they give you ALOT! No indoor seating but they do have a eating area outside, nice and shady! I frequently go here when in Sanford. Yum!

We go on search across NC every weekend and search for authentic tacos and Mexican. One of the best so far. Came from Wake Forest and worth the drive. Great flavor, traditional toppings, excellent corn tortillas hand made. Priced slightly higher than some others, but worth it. Nice crowd even with COVID. Sat and ate at the rear pavilion and nice shade and breeze. Well done. And yes, that pepper was hotter than we expected.

The tacos…carnitas were 4/10, Al pastor 4/10, asada 9/10 and the yellow rice was mushy. I would eat here again although it would be for the asada (steak) tacos only. My wife said the Papusa was a 7/10…that’s a good score for her.
