I have been ordering from Tacos Elsinore for years, I love their food, and the beans are very creamy. I would say they make comfort food. I’m beating myself up for having only recently tried the home made salsa, as I never actually ordered chips on the side. The chips are nothing special, the salsa is. It’s chunky, full of fresh onions, tomatoes, green onions, and whatever else they sneak in there. The spice is warm and hits the nose.

This USED too be a good place for cheap decent food. The food stayed the same and the price has tripled. I can’t even tip anymore since the prices went up so much. It’s sad to see an amazing little restaurant become so low value due to greedy owners. Even the staff that had been there for years has left because of this. It won’t be long before they’re out of business and everybody else just be going to Del Taco

There are only a few places with authentic Mexican food in this area and this is definitely one of them! Hard shell shredded beef and chicken tacos were only 1.75 each on the Wed special deal, very satisfying thank you

I came here because of all the positive reviews of this being an “authentic Mexican” restaurant. In my opinion this is untrue! As someone who frequently travels deep in to Mexico. I’ve never in my life had a carne asada torta be served with American sliced cheese. Rather than tasting like a torta it tasted like a cheese burger. I’m not a complainer so when I found the hair in my fries I just stopped eating them, because it’s a common mistake. But for people to say this is Authentic Mexican food the customers should be aware of the misleading reviews of this location.

Just found out that they have fresh Menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. They have a really great menu choices and will gladly accommodate any special orders, based on availability of items. Super nice people, is reasonably quick service as possible and is as good as expected. I wish I found this place much sooner!

Got there taco special Monday. I understand it’s only $1.25 but asada was bland no flavor and al pastor looked like chicken couldn’t tell the difference hear it was good back in the days but not impressed.

Cousin brought me here, low-key hesitant to try it judging from how the plaza looks on the outside but honestly one of thee best taco places I’ve ever been too (def top 5). Service was excellent, server was very friendly and brought food to our table. Food was good looking and good tasting. Would highly recommend and I will def be back for more next time im in town.
