Was in the Lee’s Summit area and wanted tacos, found this place on Google & I’m very glad I did. I didn’t know it was a truck so I called looking for a menu. The guy was very nice and said just text me your order but I decided to just go! They did not disappoint. (No menu lol but they explained they have tacos, quesadillas and something else.) The flavor options were on the truck ( no chicken). I got Birria, steak and Al pastore. The steak and alpastore were my fav! So much flavor. They give you a great amount of chopped onion, cilantro, radish and cucumber; also grilled onions and a jalapeño, guacamole and different sauces including verde. Everything is very authentic and delicious! I just found my new taco spot.

Top quality flavor, the tacos taste and look like someone’s grandmother (abuelita) made them. The birria with grilled peppers and onions tacos is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And if you just want a cheese quesadilla, that’s amazing too for being just a tortilla and cheese. They’re located in the parking lot of Safelite Glass (a service station at one time in history so it has charm like the O.G. Oklahoma Joes in nearby Kansas. I wish they would put up a menu with prices. Def five stars for quality.

This is THE go to food truck in the Kansas City area if you are feeling authentic Mexican. Coming from Dodge City, KS I had quite a few options for authentic Mexican food. La Chicatana reminds me of my home town! Super nice staff. Quick service. DELICIOUS FOOD.

I had the pleasure of going here after my parents recommended. The service was quick, the staff keep the line moving so it really didn’t take too long to get the tacos. I paid $9 for 4 tacos & it really isn’t a bad price. I’ve had worse tacos for a lot more. I had Birria, Al Pastor, & Campechano. Every meat was SO good. The tortillas held together and complimented the meat well. The salsas are both good & it isn’t tacos without limón, radishes, a grilled jalapeño & grilled onions. I will definitely tell my friends to give this spot a go. Why go to el torito for horrible service when you can come here for incredible service?

This place has amazing tacos!!! Meat is always cooked perfectly and has good flavor. IMO best tacos in LSMO. I have not once been disappointed and they provide a good amount of sauces and toppings without even asking!
