$3 for a tiny taco with sad meat

I love this taco trailer. I’ve only ordered steak/asada tacos the few times I’ve been there. They’re just meat, onion, and cilantro served with a lime wedge to squeeze, but they are SO good. $3/each at time of this review.

I had heard great things about this truck and had passed it several times. We stopped by looking for a vegan option. The owner and her daughter promised us deep fried potato tacos if we returned the next week. Just like that. Needless to say we came back and they are the most authentic tacos I’ve had in Asheville to date. Highly recommend.

Out of all the taco trucks I have tried in Asheville, Tacos La Joya serves the most delicious, most authentic tacos to date! Always served up with a smile, these tacos come with a variety of different meats, sauces, and toppings. My family always like to purchase a couple of ice cold Jaritos to wash them down with. I strongly suggest stopping by and grabbing a couple as they’re served up in a timely manner. Thanks so much Taco La Joya for the awesome food! We love you!

Tacos are expensive and tiny! $3 dollars a taco and that doesn’t include tax. Also the salsa was spoiled.

Love this place! Owners are super friendly. Tacos are fast, delicious and authentic. I get tacos on the regular and happy it’s nearby my house.

From best to worst. I ate here at least once a week for almost a year. Last night it was very different and I was sick as hell. The vibe was not friendly like usual and the new guy kept glaring at us suspiciously as the tacos were being made. They tasted bad, i was given pork instead of barbacoa and I spent hours puking and worse. I’ll never go back. I’m deeply upset as Hortensia was one of my favorite people to see each week and the tacos were so good they inspired me to learn to make my own. Don’t know who the new guy is but his presence heralded the end of an era.
