The people working here are extremely welcoming. While I was eating a rude Uber driver came in and the lady working there approached her with kindness and respect. Food is a perfect mix between authentic and white washed. There is something for everyone. One of my favorites were their tortas the bread was toasted and the cheese was nicely melted. Nachos locos were very crunchy and savory. They had all types of Tocos they were very fresh. Their aguas frescas were not too sweet. Only thing was that while dining in there was no menus to look at you had to look from their menu posted on a wall.

It’s been a while since I’ve been extremely satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere of a restaurant. A triple threat. Still new to the area and love to find foodie spots that are consistent, have good food and service. Oh and close to home. This place is truly a gem. As of today, within the course of one week, I’ve already been there 3 times!! LOL..and might go today if I get a craving. I’ve been looking for a latin restaurant and found authentic Mexican food instead which I absolutely love. It’s soul food to me. The first time we ordered a burrito bowl, chicken breast en mole poblano and 2 tres leches (my favorite dessert!). Second time was an enchilada en mole. Third time was 2 enchiladas (one mole Verde and one mole poblano), side salad and 2 tres leches.

I’ve been here many times and the tacos are delicious, the green sauce is not too spicy and the staff is always friendly. Service is pretty quick too. Chicken tacos, tacos al Pastore, churros, horchata, Tamarindo, all super tasty. Would definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic Mexican.

First time coming here, was driving home and saw their sign and thought to try it out. It was fully empty, all three employees were just hanging around. I ordered the fish tacos and horchata. Young lady was extremely unfriendly, but for some reason I tipped on a to go order. Hoped the tacos would be good. But they were dry and the breading was weak. Sucks that I have to pass this place everyday now. I’d just avoid altogether.

The other day I got, Tacos Loco, in West Orange for lunch. I ordered their Chicken Burrito Bowl and man was it delicious. Everything tasted really fresh and the chicken had great flavor. The rice had great texture with nice flavor as well too, and was complimented greatly with the black beans. My favorite part was the guacamole! It was terrific. I would absolutely be trying this place again, and would highly recommend, Tacos Locos, to anyone in the West Orange/Orange area looking for some great tasting Mexican food!

Stop being cheap with the green aji or hot sauce . The place has good food don’t get me wrong . How many times are you going to skimp on aji ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ . Ordered tacos and a burrito bowl and one it seems a lot less for more and again stop skimping ppl in hot sauces that should come with each meal ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ replying to cocky owner you guys didn’t even give one and we got two meals ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️ don’t be cheap with well paying customers and cocky
