I had some time to kill before going to my evening class at the university right down the street. Ordered the combo steak tacos with a horchata to drink and my cravings were satisfied!

I used to live in the apartment above back in college. So I took the kids to visit here.

Quiet little tucked away place near the college. Options are limited but it’s fresh cooked and oh so tasty! I had tacos lengua and they’re just the way I remember them from when I was a kid.

It’s a small place and operation. Ordering can be slow but they make up for it with the tacos! Definitely worth a visit.

ordered chicken burritos for me and a friend. they were incredibly dry, the meat was incredibly dry, rice was incredibly dry, beans incredibly dry (and no salt) and there was no sauce or cheese on the burrito which would have made it edible.

The employees do not like helping you when you go and order, they do not listen well and do exact opposite of what you ask. service is not the best, I asked to get my burrito toasted like they do with every customer and the short guy at the front denied me saying they can’t while smiling. Do not go here if you want quality food and good service, it’s only good for a quick snack when nothing else is open or near but would rather recommend egg roll cafe! They have better service and food.

Guy working the counter was angry when we walked in, got even angrier when I ordered beef tongue. Sorry bud it’s on the menu. The kitchen staff was staring at us and laughing in Spanish the whole time. Pretty awful vibe and rude staff. Meal was alright but not worth the price.

When the restaurant first open up it was amazing good service but now not so great now ! They make up prices as they go I thought it was the language barrier, but I also to speak Spanish I went there 2 times in one week and it was 2 different prices same exact meals. I asked her in Spanish she tried to say I ordered something I even showed her the old receipt I gotten to find that the customer service is rude now like it’s a bother for you to get food that you are paying for. If local and want something quick and in a rush go there if u have time and looking for good consistent food and good service go to California burrito !

Called ahead to order…was hung up on and the order was not made when we arrived. Ordered birria tacos but this is what I got, the shells weren’t cooked and no melted cheese. Also, we got a quesadilla which ended up being a burrito and that was great. Stay away if you’re looking for birria tacos.

Excellent papusas, among the best I’ve had! Burritos, tacos, all good too! Police, fire, EMS eat here which is always a good sign.
