The food is amazing and comes out pretty quickly. But the cook is possibly resentful if we order American tacos?? There was one VERY small, half slice of a tomato on my American taco and one tiny half slice on my Gordita. Great homemade sauces, too! Service was ok. Cozy lil atmosphere.

Really good food. Service was good the first time. The waitresses English was tough. Then my second experience we waited to be seated but the place was empty so i left. Sadly the dining room smells overpowering of fabuloso and I think the cheese? it’s way too much if you have a sensitive nose.

This place is awesome! The most homey, authentic Mexican I’ve ever had!! Every time I go it gets better and better, and they keep blowing me away. The tamales are incredible, I was astonished by how much flavor they get into them. The gorditas are to die for – salty and fatty with a ton of juicy meat! And the tacos are all on point with the sauces too, however I like the Al Pastor or the A la Diabla the best. Rice and beans are awesome. Their Agua Frescas are soooo refreshing, and you can tell they make them very fresh. They’re incredible. And it’s all so cheap!! You can fill yourself up with more than enough food for $10! I cannot wait to go back, and to tell all my friends about it. So amazing.

I ordered 3 carne asada tacos i get home and i notice they are three carnitas tacos and i do not each pork. I called back to let them know and the women who answered the phone was extremely rude and said then i ordered it wrong and hung up on me. Do not appreciate such a rude interaction when this was such a simple fix.

That A La Diabla taco is amazing! I also love the place’s rice and orange hot sauce. Beef burrito is a go-to as well. Never had anything bad from here though. Great place!

Damn! Best tacos in Newport News for sure!! Fresh made tortillas. They have all the good stuff. Lengua, cabeza, carnitas, al pastor, chorizo, barbacoa. This is great food in a small setting.
