There use to be a line out the door. They had the ideal mix of beans and cabbage with tomatoes. The burritos are larger now, I suppose to compete with other places. They use to be rolled very tight, easier to hold and when finished, it wasn’t a feeling of over eating, but satisfying.

Had the Burrito Supreme Al Pastor and it was hands-down the best! Loved the cabbage in it instead of soggy lettuce. The beans and the beans were cooked so well. Fresh! Fast! The salsa that’s given on the side was delicious! Go here! To tick off the authentic Mexican burrito that you’re looking for while in Santa Cruz.

This place is on another level when compared to other taquerias in town. Their pastor has yet to be beat. The salsa has some kick unlike the watery corporate pablum found at other establishments. When they close for a few weeks during Christmas and New Year’s the withdrawals are no joke.
