What an incredible taco truck! We came across it while looking for somewhere to stop for lunch whilst driving through the area. They are so friendly and the tacos are amazing! We tried several and they’re all delicious, and the salsas they came with are so tasty!

4.5 star taste, at 5.5 star prices. Is it your classic local area street food, frequented by many working-class individuals. It can get super busy, but it’s very accessible. Lots of street parking, and a place that is not a busy part of town. Wheelchair accessible, plenty of free parking.

Extraordinary Mexican food! The tortillas are homemade and quite unlike anything you have ever tasted at any other taco truck (even in CA where good Mexican food abounds). Also delectable is the barbecued lamb, but the most amazing, Michelin-star worthy ingredient is the huitlacoche mushroom that can be added to quesadillas or tlacoyos, which are also superb. The food is prepared and served with skill and pride Enjoy your meal at a table in the unassuming lot with Mexican music playing and a breeze blowing, and well, nothing could be better. As for the prices: I would pay 4x the asking price for such delicacies.

It’s a food truck so it’s not dine-in but they do have a few large picnic tables. The tacos are hands down the best in New Haven. Forget about Long Wharf. I felt so broken when I moved to New Haven from SWFL. Delicious Mexican food in general was hard to find- let alone amazing tacos. Look no further. This is it.
