We where passing by going back to Illinois they have “Homemade tortillas”, everything was delicious we order quesabirria, menudo, tacos de cabeza, enchiladas Verdes and tortillas highly recommend the food

So I heard from a friend about this place and that they served birria de chivo (goat meat) so I was hooked in trying this spot out! Much to my disappointment they didn’t have any available for me to try today . So I had to try their beef birria. I ordered some birria quesatacos with consomé. Birria tacos were great good flavor (a little light on the meat) but good on the cheese. But the consomé was watered down as you can see in the picture. Maybe it was just an off day. I believe in second chances so I will be back when they have chivo and hopefully the consomé is a little thicker like it should be. Btw, great and friendly staff

Heard that they had great food, decided to try it out. First off the prices are outrageous. I wanted quesabirria tacos. I got quesabirria tacos that were edible, but not good at all. There was zero flavor, the one wedge of lime did have some flavor. I honestly couldn’t even decipher what kind of meat I was eating. Consome was just a clear broth with no flavor. 2 stars because it was edible, and the lime had flavor. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. $12 over what I normally spend at my other spot that happened to be closed today.
