This pub was excellent!! Great menu with many local food options as well as traditional fair and a cool atmosphere. Very clean and well-lit. Our server was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the food was SO good! My son and I split an appetizer of hot pretzel bites with a mustard and horseradish sauce on the side – both were great. I had the baked haddock dinner with rice pilaf and seasoned mixed vegetables of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots (pictured) that was amazing. Very fresh fish cooked perfectly with lemon and panko breadcrumbs – really tasty!! My son had a giant Reuben on marble rye with pub fries that he loved and we split a hot brownie sundae that was incredible. He had 2 local brews and I had 2 Irish coffees, so the bill was very reasonable when it came for all that we had. I definitely will go back the next time that I’m in the area, and I absolutely recommend this place when you’re looking for a really great local bar.

Came in for lunch and to watch college football. Cool bar and the food was very good. I got a chicken tender salad with a side of sweet potato fries (balance right) and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband got a burger and regular fries and really enjoyed that too. Overall it was great for a sports bar!

We were traveling through the area and decided to stop here and try Tailgate Tavern for the first time. We were greeted tight away and seats were available during dinner, though the bar was quite full. We each ordered a dinner plate and in a short time our food arrived. Staff was great and the food was hot, fresh and delicious! Definitely would like to try again if we are in the area.

The best ribeye in Exeter, Nh! The service is fast. Great customer service and the best bartenders. Tina is amazing! I’ve been here since August on a work assignment at the hospital. And even the cooks know what you like and how you like it. I love this place. You won’t be disappointed. Plenty helpings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was great! I got the “generous” portion of chicken tenders with fries meal and honestly feel for a “generous” portion should of been more than 6 tenders but overal the food was good. My mom got a burger she said she liked and it did look good. Waitress was good and attentive. I’d come back again but hope portion is better.

Food was good, used to be better when first opened. We haven’t been in a while because consistency & quality just isn’t there anymore. Server was not very attentive, forgot sauces & mentioned she would bring a beer over and it took about 10 mins to receive said beer.

Great food, great service and great prices! I love going to Tailgate with friends for a beer or family for a yummy meal. It’s very clean (including the bathroom), the environment is casual, not too dark and plenty of extra room. The bar is great. Buffalo chicken mac & cheese is delicious!
