Well if you are looking for that interesting place that gives you a unique feeling of folksy Americana, this is it. One of the few places I have been that is so popular the parking lot is full of cars and of course a Harley and a Golf Cart! People come from all around to eat the food in this country bar and grill. The place was full, the waitstaff busy and everyone was happy, talking and sharing stories and the place had that buzz of conversation that you find in small places like this. While obviously a central meeting place for dining and libation in the small town of Vining, it is also interesting with the mix of corrugated tin roofing and taxidermy, (Elk, Deer, a Duck and what appeared to be a Badger) hanging on the walls.

I love this place. This was my second time eating here, I’m not from around here. Food quality is great, employees are all friendly. Took awhile to get our food tonight, but was worth the wait. Probably the best baked potato I’ve ever had. Thanks again….:)

Food was excellent as usual. .y spouse had the brisket sandwich and said the brisket was some of the best she has ever had. My smoked pork chop was very good. We like the warm twice baked potato salad. Give them a try!

The food is always good, the service leaves something to be desired. It’s not uncommon to wait for 15-20 minutes before someone will come take your drink order and bring a menu. It’s also not uncommon to wait 15-20 minutes after you are done eating for them to bring your check. I would visit more often if the service was better.

Really great food and a fun atmosphere! They have daily and weekly specials, plus, plenty of room to host a bigger group if you call ahead! If you like hometown diners and hole-in-the-wall bars, it’s definitely worth stopping in. The rural scenery and backroad cruise to get there is quite nice too!

Split the full rack baby back ribs, potato salad and fries for $17.99. Great value and delicious. The server was attentive. I like the “down home” atmosphere and decor. This was my first time to eat at Tailgaters and I will be back and bring guests.
