Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – very generous portion sizes but the food wasn’t very good. Lunch Special of Kung Pao Chicken (1) and Szechuan Beef (9). The chicken should have a slightly sweet and spicy with a tough of nuttiness from peanuts or cashews. Unfortunately, it had a bitter taste to it overall and some of the celery pieces very stringy. We’re not quite sure what they gave us for the second dish but it isn’t a Szechuan beef… it was a weird coated beef with two chilies and some peas. It wasn’t very spicy and reminded us more of Mongolian Beef. The fried rice is pretty much just white rice with a touch of eggs.

The bar was seedy in a comforting way, like I knew that we weren’t getting robbed, the ppl who ran the place are way scarier. I wanted food because it smelled Wonder full. The lady the bartender lady was so sweet very attentive and accommodating how bartender treat the poor people is what determines whether or not I come back0

Nice find for us, although I’m sure the locals know all about this place. They are known for their noodles so of course I had to try it. Was not disappointed! Ordered the Dan-Dan Mein Szechaun Sauce Noodles and absolutely loved the noodles. The sauce was ok (first time having it), wish it was a bit thicker. Can’t wait to go back and try another dish!

First off this place looks run down and outdated BUT the food that they make is delicious!! You should dine in because when you order take out you’re losing a lot of the flavor and textures of the dishes. The time it takes to be picked up and then taken to your home will take away from the quality. They brought our crispy sweet and sour pork out and it was the tastiest and crunchiest sweet and sour pork I’ve ever had, it was like eating french fries because I could not stop eating it, it also stayed piping hot while we ate our other dishes. The black bean noodle texture was great! The sauce is mild. This restaurant offers you water or a complimentary hot tea. We took dan dan noodles to-go and that was also very good, they give you a lot of minced pork and the portions are huge, trust me they don’t skimp on their ingredients! Our total with a pepsi was only 32 dollars for 3 huge and delicious dishes (going to enjoy the leftovers later tonight). I also can see why some people say the lady here is rude, it’s a bit of a culture difference I’d say, but to me she was not rude at all!

Fresh tasty ingredients make this the best place around! We had the family style meal, and everything we tried was great. Every dish prepared with care. You won’t regret coming here.

Amazing food, but if you order and are not Asian they want you to sit and eat in the bar area next to the gambling machines, not in the dining area. If you are easily offended and not Asian don’t eat here, but if you don’t mind their superiority complex they have AMAZING food.

Hole in the wall restaurant that we come to all the time. Food is delicious, cheap and huge portions. Wonton noodles soup, house fried rice, salt pepper squid, pork green beans and chicken wings are our favorites.

Noodle texture is good, not too soft or mushy. Broth is rich. Fried chicken wings are unique in taste in a good way.

Authentic and tasty Chinese food even though it wasn’t particularly Taiwanese. Lots of choices other than noodles. Portions are generous, and the complimentary kimchi and tea were a pleasant surprise.
