they actually have skewers and hotpot on top of authentic Chinese Taishanese food. my family and i went there and ordered some random stuff. the most memorable for me was the “Yellow Eel Clay Pot Rice” and their “Baked Chicken”

We came here for Dim Sum. There are some promotions: for $3.8, you get the dish whose regular price is $6 or above. But they limit the promotion to only two dishes.

The place is clean, the menu items have okay translations to English, and the service is pretty good. The food is reasonably priced and comes out quick but not so quick that you think they’ve been microwaved.

Guy working the front door said they had chow fun. he pointed at the menu & said they had chow fun, so we went in. After we sat down & talked to him, no chow fun…. select a bunch of stuff on menu with a dry erase marker. The same door guy was our waiter. He erased stuff we wanted and put other stuff, we said we didn’t want that but he insisted. Our order was wrong when things started arriving, 2 things we ordered never came out, not sure if there was a language barrier, but we tried explaining the order & what the items were, but nothing was clear. We explained items came out that we didn’t order, the guy said we did order that but we didn’t…. food came out all at different times We were the only table in the place, but one other table was sat after us, but it took so long for everything we ordered to arrive especially because they forgot 2 items. When the bill was paid, no tip was left & the guy followed us out of the store arguing that we had to leave a tip, but we didn’t feel like we got the food or service we expected. He kept yelling at us that we had to leave a tip.

The Taishan roasted chicken is a must order! The Taishan coconut soup base for hot pot is amazing! It’s worth trying! Server was very nice

For a brand new hot pot place, they did not do any homework. They do not have any dipping condiments other than soy sauce, hot sauce, hot Maggi (this is new to me), satay, and hot oil (which our server was confused over). They didn’t even have chicken slices. There are some weird size listings. Like small and large hot pot sizes.
