Absolutely flavourless. stored bought cooked deveined shrimp along with store bought marinated egg microwaved (I heard the microwave timer sounds) served to me in less than 3 minutes. Not worth a try people.

The most familiar TW’s traditional food since I have been here for three weeks.

Finally I get to experience a taste of Taiwan in PDX. I spent some time in Taiwan and came to love the foods and flavors there. Haven’t been able to since I left. I even tried to recreate my own niu rou mian only to realize it was much more difficult to recreate than I thought. Well to my surprise this little Taiwan place with a simple name was the perfect fit. Their tea eggs are great and their quick steamed veggies transported me back to the streets of Taiwan. Bubble tea was great, not the fruity tooty stuff you get at Americanized places. Here you get 1 flavor, black tea, and it’s solid. No pumpkin spiced bubble tea for me! The niu rou mian had a slightly different flavor than I remember my little soup place in Linkou having but still excellent. The beef shank was amazingly flavorful and tender. The dining area is super tiny, maybe room for 5 on tall stools. But there is some heated seating outside for more. Looking forward to going back and trying their other items. Now only if they served stinky tofu..

I just started working nearby, and thought I would try the cold sesame noodles with a side of the five spice beef, best cold noodles I have ever had! Will get it a few more times and want to try some of their other dishes now.

First time visit, and ate 炸醬麵 and 滷肉飯. Very authentic, tasty and volumy (小吃 means small dishes in Chinese, so I did not expect it). It is a real Taiwanese restaurant. It would be great if they could offer 擔仔麺 and 紅油抄手 🙂

Food was terrible. The chicken tasted old, the boba was tasteless. The sauce was way too salty and the egg was too cold. The best part of the meal was the poached vegetables.

This is my favorite Taiwanese restaurant so far. Their Mien Shian is so good! Just like Mian Shian from Taiwan! Very Authentic.Stinky tofu and Mi Fen are good as well. I go there often, hope the taste of food will stay consistent.

Great in overall, Very Authentic! But a little bit greasy. Don’t forget to remind them not to put too much sauce on the dish!

They are tiny with a small menu but the food is delicious and affordable and the owner is extremely friendly. I’ve visited off and on for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. You’ll probably need to get your food to go unless the weather is nice, as there are only a couple of seats inside.
