Taj Aiken is absolutely wonderful. We had never been here but the food is amazing. They have so many lamb dishes which is hard to find in the area. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting. The staff are very attentive and polite. This will be a regular dinner spot for us now! Easy access from alley/street parking.

One of the only places with a vegetarian/vegan menu in Aiken so we’re lucky it’s delicious! I’ve eaten Indian cuisine in many different cities and countries and Taj is one of the best! It’s authentic, fresh has an extensive menu. There is something for everyone! The restaurant is very small and always crowded. It’s also quite dark. The staff is friendly and attentive. The do offer take out.

Came here on a date. The food is always delicious. What got me this time was the staff being impolite. My date and I were like… We know the food is delicious and discussed what we were going to order as we walked in the door. Next thing, we were told they were closed and asked to come back later. We didn’t have a problem with that. We were standing outside talking about where else to go while we waited. This guy from the staff comes outside, looks at us, and points down at the business hours sign before walking back in and slamming the door. How unnecessary and rude. The front door was unlocked, and I’ve never had that kind of experience at a restaurant.

Best experience in Aiken so far. Hostess gave warm greeting, sat quickly and order taken by young and enthusiastic server. Rohan Josh, Goat Biriani, Naan aloo we’re phenomenal. All different with fresh herbs and spicy as per our request! Mango lassi was incredible and full of flavor. Presentation, quality, staff, TASTE, value, and cleanliness were superb. Only thing is the timing to have staff take our order a little long, and for pacing, naan could have come out before entrees. It was spectacular. Great place to try in Aiken and we will be back soon. A must to visit here! One thing to keep in mind, if you like spicy, get medium. Spicy is extra spicy which we have had atomic wings and are okay with that but if you don’t like that level of spicy, go a size down from your usual.

Small place with a big taste. We shared a cauliflower dish (something 65) that was very good. A mango chicken Curry barely made it into a photo before it was devoured. A potato blend Naan was also ordered and overpowered by the potato flavor. It wasn’t bad, but I think I would order a different Naan app.
