Came here for the first time. The food was ok. The service was…meh. A bit pricey. So many boxes on the top of the tables at the back area. Maybe if you try their lunch menu it might be worth it.

This is my favorite restaurant in Montclair, as someone who works from home and orders food for lunch. Takara is consistently delicious, consistently well-packaged, and provides consistently good service with a friendly delivery person as well.

Haven’t been in person but ordered online. Sushi is on point for what we ordered and the Lo mein is seasoned. By this is mean I usually gotta throw. Lil soy or duck sauce to add some love..but I’m eating this straight like I never had noodz before. Will try in person for another review but we’ll done!!

Ordered to go so can’t say much about the store it’s self. However, the food was great. Fish was very fresh, almost melt in your mouth, great variety to choose from, specialty rolls were great as well. Soup was really good. Can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Will def be going back.

Picked up a couple rolls from here and a spicy Kani salad it was amazing very fresh tasting, large rolls the service was quick and all the food was delicious. The Lunch special was definitely worth it with The Choice of soup, the wanton soup was very good.

The food was good but the server gave a bit of an attitude. Also BEWARE they put 20% tip on their check ahead of time so if it is higher than you expected that is why. Pretty rude to give yourself a 20% tip when your service is subpar and if you don’t notice the small tip addition you may end up tipping twice.
