This place was GREAT! The server was so nice and sweet, the menu was awesome, the bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant itself was beautiful inside. I loved it very much. It was rather pricey, with my total being ~75 for 3 people, but the food was so worth it. Would definitely recommend the strawberry and green tea mochis! So delicious.

Takara is a solid, consistent sushi restaurant near our house. Tonight my husband and I sat at the bar and shared the Hottie Kimono Roll (I forgot to take a pic!) and some nigiri. The roll is a specialty and is the highlight of their rolls. The nigiri is ok depending on what you order. Our favorite is the Fatty Tuna and the Yellow Tail is a close second. I suggest coming during Happy Hour during the week as opposed to a weekend end as we spent $107 on the roll, 12 pcs of nigiri and a glass of wine.

Gorgeous venue! The atmosphere and service was wonderful even though the place was very busy. Their drinks were fantastic, would definitely recommend. The steak was very well cooked and the presentation was beautiful. My wife said her Salmon was delicious. We went with the Creme Brulee for a desert and like everything else it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Nice ambiance with smooth jazz playing in the background. It was initially slow around 430p on Friday but quickly go busy. Our waitress, Anna, was very attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was very good. I ordered the Bokum dish. The dish was drowning in sauce which I dislike. However, overall it was a pleasant experience: I’ll skip the saucy dishes next time. Oh! Take a jacket! It was freezing in there!

My wife had the sushi there one night. She liked it so much we had lunch there the next day. She was pleased once again. I had the hot and sour soup and and the oven baked scallop risotto. Both were terrific. The setting is upscale and tastefully done. My wife has several food sensitivities. They have a separate gluten free menu and our server, Linda (I think) was very nice, responsive, professional and knowledgable about the menu. We will be back.
