Great food, incredibly friendly and fast service, booth seating, and multiple menu options. They didn’t have sushi available when we went, which is the only reason it’s not a full 5 stars! The bento and hibachi we had were both awesome.

Takaya Japanese steak house has boba tea very tasty and delicious sushi , hibachi gills all are my favorite food and drink, love this place so much , I would recommend that you should go there and tryout , very nice and friendly people

I hope this place gets more attention, it’s pretty good Japanese food and everybody is really friendly. Pricing is cheaper than the Chinese buffets nearby. (We payed about $28 for two people) our meals came with a choice of soup, and a small salad. Unless you require pounds of food, you won’t leave hungry.

Was on a trip to Pikeville so I researched a different place to eat. Ordered the Vegetable Yaki Soba and Vegetable Fried Rice. Couldn’t finish all of it so I refrigerated and remicrowaved it somewhere later at night. Still tasted exactly how I ordered it.

By golly. Top tier restaurant. They didn’t just feed me here. They FED me! It felt so good to my eye sockets to look at that Takaya Yaki Soba! Such juicy noodles. Those noodles were just long and slippery. That stuff was hotter than a steel chain saw in an eastern Kentucky pawn shop. The yum yum sauce was very yummy. Thank you Takaya, very cool!

The value for the food is pretty good. The sushi rice is well done and the menu is pretty wide. The miso soup is solid. The eel hand roll is well worth trying. The gyoza, or fried dumplings, are fantastic. My favorite item on the menu so far.

This was my first visit here. I went in for lunch, and the food was great. The price was good too. Lunch Hibachi Chicken and a drink was about $11.50. Highly recommend!

It was delicious! (aside from the salad.. that was bitter tasting..) I would come back but not all the time. I did find it to be a bit pricey just for two people. I also tried fruit tea with the boba things at the bottom for the first time. Pretty good, but definitely not worth $5.25!
