This is an interesting restaurant. First of all, they have indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. They serve your food in a different way – you order at the cash register, they give you a number, they make your food and put it at a shelf, and you would pick up the food at the numbered shelf that was given to you. The food was not bad, it has a very interesting blend of food that I haven’t tried before. I just wish I get more food that i received for the price that I paid. You get such a small plate of food and it’s not filling!

It’s a BAR (a pub if you’re a Brit) in all sense of the word: self-service, separate serving counters for libation and food (grub), high bar tables/chairs, all food are snacks/sandwiches. …QR menu but one has to physically go to the counters to order and pick them when ready.

If you know their downtown PGH location, then the one in Bakery Square is going to be a massive disappointment. There’s virtually zero service. You go up to the counter and order, you pick up your food after you get a text message that it’s ready, you eat, and then you bring away your tray and clean up your table. Yet they turn around their tablet at checkout and expect you to tip 20%. The food was good but cold. It does not merit the $65 we spent there for a dinner for two people (two taco dishes, one starter, two drinks). The drinks and the overall atmosphere in the place were good, the interior is nice. That alone does not save it for me, I won’t be coming back. You’re way better off going to the Galley at Bakery Square or any other place nearby.

Dear God… the food here is to die for! The sandwich is a torta menu item, and that is their side salad. The frozen marg you see is part of their vast happy hour special for $7. I walked away with a bill for about $27 plus a tip. Great way to stray from the comfort zone when you are visiting Bakery Square!

I can’t find anything bad to say about my lunch experience at tako torta in Bakery Square. The vibe is relaxing and made me in a good mood. We went on a Wednesday around noon and it was pretty mush empty.

I like their new place, it’s big and have a lots of space. You really don’t need to make a reservation in advance.

I love this place. Such a cool vibe inside and the food is absolutely delicious albeit overpriced. I like to stop in for lunch about once a month. I’d frequent more often if it was less expensive. I’ve had the octopus taco’s, shrimp taco’s, fish taco’s and have recently started ordering the bowls. If you want to get your moneys worth a custom bowl is the way to go. Just beware if ordering online, there doesn’t seem to be an option to order bowls online?

Eclectic and trendy option for Mexican -Asian Fusion. Definitely not traditional Mexican fare. The menu offers taco options packed with flavor from unique sauces. Portions are big. Queso and guac were underwhelming. Giant churro was a big plus! Restaurant was clean and welcoming.

The brisket torta and Korean tacos smelled and taste like the inside of a 7/11 store – How?

I was looking forward to dining here for a while and finally got the chance. There were so many yummy sounding things on the menu that I was hard pressed to pick one meal and one appetizer. Portions are average and prices were mid-range. I got mushroom tacos and you received two (delicious). The appetizer was a dip with tortilla chips called Queso Fundido and it was pretty tasty. The tortilla chips are very salty. SO got a brisket torta which was also delish. Would definitely try again as there are other dishes on the menu that piqued my interest!
