The food here is an interesting spin but nothing particularly exciting. The meat was hot, the cabbage was cold, and the rice was lukewarm so the bowl ended up tasting weird with every bite. But the “chiptole” take was pretty interesting overall.

Tried the veggie bowl about three times now and the experience is consistently just ok. The food is fresh and tasty but the service is a bit cold and the portions of everything but the rice and sauce are small. If you ask for no rice, they are not flexible enough to double your protein serving, which, especially for the veggie option, just seems stingy. For a place that prides itself on being customizable, this doesn’t seem true to brand. The lime crema sauce mixed with a bit of the Sriracha is amazing and really brings the bowl to life so don’t forget to add it.

This was such a fun, and delicious place!! We had steak and pork tacos. They were big, messy, and so yummy!

Takorean is a fast-casual “create your own” taco/rice bowl restaurant. There are plenty of meat & slaw & topping options to customise your meal, and the employees have all been super friendly and attentive every time I’ve visited. I like to get a bowl with bulgogi, gochujang, and a poached egg for some extra flavor. (Do note that the bulgogi & poached egg options cost extra on top of the initial purchase.) As far as drinks, they have an assortment of water, Mexican soda, and kombucha. Overall, it’s now my favorite fast-casual rice bowl in the city!

The tacos are pretty empty and flavorless. Maybe I’m just used to more flavor and spice since I eat a lot of authentic Korean food. Also the corn tortillas we’re hard and have the texture of wet cardboard.

Delicious food served up in generous helpings. Reasonably priced meals available for takeout or eating at the Bourse.

The area was busy with students from local schools. The food was good, rice was a little overdone and flavors could have been stronger but overall a good experience.

Situated right near the entrance of The Bourse. Service was good, but Korean flavors in the tacos went Lost in Translation.
