Came for a Gordita and Quesaberria. Honestly I would give everything 10 but the meat wasn’t seasoned. However, the authenticity of the sauce and the food saved it. Give them a 8/10. I would return!

The tacos were good. They were decent sized and flavorful. I have had better tacos before but not anywhere near this area. I would eat here again. I got a asada, pastor, carnitas, and chorizo taco. The asada and pastor were very good. Carnitas were a little dry and the chorizo didn’t have as much flavor as I was expecting. The salsas were very good they complemented the tacos well. The rice was pretty good but nothing special. This restaurant is only to go.

Best food in Dawsonville hands down. I love that this place is independent and not a chain. Most options in Dawsonville are chains and are average. The food at Takoz express is absolutely amazing and anytime I have family or friends in town we eat here!

Prices online are not correct. Tacos online are $2.50 each, but when you order, you get charged $3.25 each. Also, I noticed the quality of your order varies weekly. Maybe it’s the staff they have on shift that day, but I did my own test over the past 2 weeks and ordered 4 times. Each time was different. This last time, I ordered Egg and Chorizo sandwich, and it was half the size of the previous orders, yet I paid the same.

No fuss to go spot for legit Mexican food. The Gorditas were absolutely delicious. I got steak. The Gordita’s are actually homemade! They were hot and crispy and perfect. Go here and order the Gorditas. They are amazing.
