I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Taku call late on a Saturday night. Everything came out in a timely fashion and with good pacing between the courses. I ordered some sushi à la cart and the salmon teriyaki bento box. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very polite and friendly and I will definitely be going back sometime.

‘Taku Japanese Steakhouse’ is a relatively new dining establishment with excellent service and friendly staff. Food was served quickly and taste was flavorful. Calming atmosphere with traditional instrumental background music.

They serve hibachi but do not cook it in front of you which is ok with me. The fried rice is excellent and is very similar to my mom’s who is Thai. The hibachi chicken and steak are not overcooked and tough like at some places, and the meat is full of flavor. My husband thinks the miso soup has the best flavor out of all restaurants of this type. I agree it is very good and has a rich meaty tasting broth. The lo mein noodles could use some extra flavor, but overall it is very good and dining area is always clean.

One of my favorite places to eat now! I’ve been there 5 times in the past month! I’ve been waiting to eat the ‘Taku Boat’ and got to today and it was amazing, if you like sea food you will sure like the ‘Taku Boat’. But be careful because it’s a very big dish!!!

We visited here for the first time tonight and we were very impressed. We normally go to a Japanese steakhouse that cooks in front of you, but with our experience tonight I don’t feel like I was missing anything. I got the Hibachi filet mignon and noodles and they were fantastic. I really enjoyed the small salad and soup before the meal came out. The service was fantastic, quick and polite. Definitely worth trying!

Was my first time eating here. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. Now I’m not the one to complain but I paid $12.99 for just shrimp rice and egg. I thought it would come with some sort of vegetable… no vegetables and only 6 shrimp all the way hidden at the bottom. When I called I asked for a replacement the guy said instead of me buying the meal again just buy the vegetables and add them to my meal, I said who’s buying a meal again I don’t want this because I don’t eat egg. Anyway we went back and forth a little because he said he don’t know how to accommodate a customer so I asked for the manager, he said the sous-chef was the only one close to management but their sous-chef didn’t want to talk. Anyway I just took the lost and will never go back the shrimp in the rice was tasteless and I threw the whole meal away! anyway this place isn’t worth the time or money

I would recommend the Samurai Special and the Filet Mignon and Shrimp as well both were cooked to perfection. This is probably the best restaurant that we’ve been to since we moved here. The portion size was adequate for the price. We will definitely be returning here to eat.
