My husband and I love sushi and where in the area and wanted to try this location out, even though it’s been open over a year, it was new to us since we don’t live on that side of town. I did a take out order for the California Rolls and my husband ordered the scallop roll.

The place was pretty good although the sashimi could be a little more better since it is kind of like regular sushi. But a problem is that most likely you would go for a expensive sushi but it doesn’t taste like expensive sushi. Maybe some dishes it would but other then that it tastes like regular sushi with a small amount of edible gold. People were great though.

Taku Sushi was a 5 star experience! The presentation, flavors and perfection of the wrap was on point. All of the food were well flavored. Parking was easy and accessible as well. I tried an off menu item the red dragon role that was a regular dragon role made with mango filling. It was so fresh and amazing.

If your on a time crunch or schedule. Do not expect this to be expedient. The food was good and the special were not expensive but not cheap. The sushi was good quality and not cheap or mushy.

We had a fantastic time. The Groupon made it very cheap as well. Prices are already very good for rolls, both basic and fancy. Service was perfect. We had an allergy in our group and they were super accommodating. We will come again.

Taku Sushi is my new favorite sushi restaurant! Not only has the food always tasted delicious, fresh and high-quality, but the presentation of each dish is beautiful, artistic, and unique each time we go. The server and waiters are very friendly and have always gone out of their way to give us an excellent experience. I’ve recommended this place to many of my friends and family members, and several of them are now regular customers. My friends and I even went there for my bachelorette party and as always, we were not disappointed!

The noodles, bomb. Super flavorful unlike other places and full of meat and veggies! Love the Hawaiian roll & the Black Angel roll the best! You also have to try the hidden house special roll, it’s crazy! All the waitress were nice and assure we were taken cared of. The plating is phenomenal! The owner, Peter, is such a kind soul. He also has another location opening up soon! 100% recommend! The Salmon tempura were also out of this world. Salmon wasn’t overly cooked and melts right in your mouth.

Been here a few times. Always have had great food and experiences! You can tell they have fun as they assemble the sushi plates (like the panda shows) and really take the food to that next level with how they present it! However, it also tastes great and feels like good quality sushi and large pieces of sashimi!

Peter, the owner is an awesome chef. You can see his passion along with other chefs through the display and quality of the sushi. I ordered 4 rolls, and 2 orders of Uni & it was sooo delicious! Definitely will be back!
