I went out to lunch here with a friend and it was honestly pretty amazing. A gem of the neighborhood / west LA area for sure. If you’ve ever been skeptical of Thai food or haven’t tried it before this is the best place to try! The pad Thai was beyond delicious and flavorful, 100% would recommend!! The owner was so kind as well and the prices were not bad at all and large portion sizes

I’m not from around here but I was looking for something to eat after visiting UCLA. Found this Thai food place as I was walking around looking for a sports bar for the UFC fights..

Delivery was quick and ordering was near effortless. My order was delivered spot-on–no problems here. I can say that the crispy spring rolls which they call “egg roll” were very nice but achieving such a feat is not difficult to do. The drunken noodle with chicken came with an ample amount of vegetables. I enjoy this and many Thai restaurants will not include this. However, as a whole the dish was bland, lacking flavor and lacking the heat I asked for in my order. Servings are large.

I never rate/comment on restaurants, but I felt the need to for Talay Thai. They have always been friendly with me, and they have some of the best Thai food I’ve tried in the city! I would give them 6 stars if I could. Their pad Thai and egg rolls are both amazing, and I’ve never had a disappointing meal there. Additionally, they both have some of the lowest prices in the city, but also some of the biggest portions! Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s not flashy – this place is a hole in the wall for sure.

I love this place so much. The portions are generous, the prices are worth exactly what you get, all is so great. I’ve been eating here for 4+ years now since I’ve moved here for college. I tried many Thai restaurants when searching for a spot I’d go to often and this is the one. Dining in, picking up, or having it delivered, all the options are viable ways to enjoy. They’re fast too with the food, but if they’re ever slow, be patient because it is worth it in the end. Couldn’t recommend it more. (Get the Thai iced coffee)

Love this place. Have been coming here for 15 years now, and the quality and taste have been maintained. Try the Tom Yum Kai soup, steamed shrimp dumplings, Thai red curry, deep fried tilapia … Try anything, it is all amazing.

I liked the foods. However, the service was not the best, just ok. I am willing to go back.
