These sandwiches are good, really good! They are full of flavor and extremely tick, bigger than my hand! My wife and daughter had to fight their way when they were trying to eat them. My son and myself were more talented for this kind of endeavor. I definitively will have to go back to try more of their sandwiches and Italian specialties.

This place lived up to the hype. I don’t live in the area, so i stopped in omw down the shore. I had the G.U.I sandwich, that has prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, mortadella with balsamic and pesto on chicken cutlet. Biggest sandwich I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the Talierico. Not sure what in it, but it was awesome also.

Finally made the 1 hour drive to this NJ famous deli and it most definitely lived up to the hype! First and foremost I must point out the excellent customer service and this is despite the free fried ravioli which were divine!!! I got the Italian and meatball parmigiana sandwiches and unknowingly went with the “whole” sizes. They are massive. The sandwiches are loaded with tons of meat and cheese!!! Loved watching the guy make my sandwich. True sandwich ‘technicians’ who truly love what they do!

HOLY HERO… This place is a MUST TRY! It 100% lives up to its name. Houses the largest heros I’ve ever seen. Completely worth the price. I ordered the Italian, the Mel Brooks, and the Roast Beef. All half heros and super packed with meat. I’ll be eating these for days. BONUS, The staff is so nice!!! Be prepared to wait, but it’s worth it. I will be back next time I visit NJ 🙂
