A Family Tradition Since 1946
Talita Arroyo, a native of Brownsville, Texas, met Sergeant Tony Neno Prince while he was stationed there in1944. While attending a USO dance, Tony spotted the most beautiful Mexican girl in a festive red dress. One look and he knew she would be his wife.
In 1968, Talita and Tony decided that the world was ready for Talita’s authentic Brownsville-style Tex-Mex cuisine. Foods from Talita’s own ‘Cocina Mexicana’ (Mexican kitchen) this adventure was the beginning of something new and wonderful. Talita’s has grown from humble beginnings to become a Columbus landmark. Each day until her retirement, you’d find the real and spirited Talita Arroyo-Prince and her children running the show at her area restaurants.

Fabulous spot!! Frank, the owner is a spectacular veteran, who helps other vets with training and job opportunities. The food is so delicious! As you can see, I wolfed it down before I could even get a pic

When you walk in, you can tell the it is a family owned business by the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is extremely friendly and you can tell that he cares about the business. I got the enchiladas, which were very good. You can also grab a coney while here as well. Worth the stop for a quick lunch.

Splendid service with a gorgeous view. Food simply fell short of expectations. We tried a coney dog, a smothered beef and bean burrito, and the spaghetti with chili. Unfortunately didn’t finish any as it didn’t sit right on our palates and weren’t fans. Very cute shop with lovely owners tho.

Accidentally stumbled upon this really tiny Columbus gem while in the area for a suit turned into a really pleasant surprise. Wanted a quick bite for lunch, walked in and felt like I stepped back in time! I took a seat to review the menu and could tell there was so much history on the walls! The business has been serving since 1968, which was really impressive to stay open that long especially for a small restaurant such as this.

This a great little spot…you can actually get lunch for under $10.00. We love their basic beef and chicken burritos. Their sauces are pretty good too.

Beef & bean burrito was delicious. The sauce is just right, not too spicy nor too mild…just perfect. A nice shaded outdoor sitting area was clean and comfortable. Frank the owner and his sister DianaMarie run a really great restaurant.
