Came for the Wednesday steak special. You get to choose your protein and it comes with 2 sides, green beans and a baked potato. I had the filet rare, and husband had the ribeye medium rare. I’ve been coming here occasionally since about a month after they opened last year… and I can honestly say that Taller’s has quickly become my favorite go-to bar. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and the food here is especially delicious (far more so than you would typically expect at a bar or pub-style spot. I highly recommend their fries here, and their Pork Belly Grilled Cheese is an absolutely mouthwatering and richly flavorful sandwich! Not to mention their steak night is very solid; I personally really enjoyed the ribeye done medium-rare. Pretty decent bourbon selection also… All in all, I’ve never had a bad experience here, and plan on continuing to go back here to Taller’s whenever possible!

Was quite the experience. My family and I wanted to watch the Astros game close by and stumbled across this Gem. The food was excellent. We went with the wings, which were huge and tasty! The fries were cooked well and the drinks were extremely generous if you have room for dessert I recommend the churros!

The staff are kind and attentive. The food is on par with hospital food aside from the fries. The fries are pretty much the only thing I enjoyed. The overall atmosphere is unpretentious. It’s a regular neighborhood bar. Ample televisions to watch sports. I’ve been here twice. Would not come back.

Visited Taller’s Tavern in February (3rd time here). This time was better. The drinks were great – Moscow Mule for me. Sat at the bar. Bartenders were super nice and allowed my hubby to taste a few of their beers in order for him to make his selection. Not too many places do that. The catfish we ordered tasted good but it was a little too salty. I had to keep dusting off the salt.

We came to try the drinks and food at this establishment after reading the great reviews. It wasn’t very busy for a Friday and we were told to seat ourselves which works for me. Unfortunately no one ever came to our table. After getting our own menus we waited a little longer but decided to leave. Thankfully we googled again and found Signature Sports Bar around the corner and had a great dinner and terrific service.
