Tally-Ho To Go is an Italian restaurant providing the best authentic Italian food in Des Moines, IA. Our family has been in the restaurant business since 1939 when our grandfather opened the original Vic’s Tally-Ho Supper Club. Our father opened Sam and Gabe’s Italian Bistro in 1995 and semi-retired in 2015. In April of 2020, we started Tally-Ho To Go to feed the community and bring joy by serving our beloved Italian food during a difficult time.

Amazing food! Jerry is an awesome chef! The manicotti is the best in town. The steak de burgo was perfectly seasoned and the kids loved to pizza! Great value and always a crowd pleaser! Well definitely get food here Everytime!!!

All i can say is Lord Have Mercy!!! I promised the owner when we met that i would stop in and give it a try. I ordered the Asiago Chicken, and it was absolutely amazing!!! I got the dinner portion since i hadn’t eaten all day, and only made it through half of this amazingly flavorful dish. The upside is, I have dinner for the next night too!! Definitely recommend and I will most certainly be back!!

The best Italian I’ve had in town in a long time. They have really figured out how to make takeout top notch as well with quick instructions for finishing food prep at home if desired. Italian nachos, steak deburgo and asiago chicken are must haves!
