Flavors are authentic! Salsas are great tasting. Tamalzole was great. Pozole was great. Chiccharon burrito had too much white rice. I prefer my burritos with beans. I will ask for beans next time. Tamales are good and they need more meat. Sometimes, I let what the food looks like get the best of me at first until I start tasting it. Prices are low. I’m used to the Bay Area prices. All in all a decent experience. They just opened the restaurant 4 months ago as well.

Tamales had a great flavor but I really liked the pozole more. They also have cheese tamales but they sell out fast so get there early. One negative thing that I’ll say is the chicken tamale meat was a little dry. Not much seating in the place but worth the wait.

Traveled to Fresno from Visalia to visit the restaurant for the first time. I’ve had her tamales before when she used to sell out of her house, so seeing her get to this stage is truly a blessing. I saw this place on a video review so I thought I would check it out. The place was clean, staff was friendly. I cant rate the food myself as I was not able to order anything on the menu as it all had a pork base it was made with. The person that took my order said they use pork lard in all their menu items. I was able to get the kids something but due to allergies, not religion, I wasn’t able to try it. I give a 3 star just based on hearing the food is good but not being able to eat any of it.

Found this restaurant through a instagram story. The food was just okay. Lacking flavor. If you keep that in mind, and come to support a local small business, then you’ll have a great time. Area is declining, but they have good parking inside a gate.
