Had the plain quesa taco but because I’m vegetarian they added lettuce, onion, cilantro and guacamole. The freshness and pure, clean flavors of this taco and the accompanying tomatillo salsa were extraordinary. It’s situated next door to the fantastic Tortilleria Molina. We have spent several days trying to find the best Tamales. Stopped by this morning picked up some chicken and pork tamales. 4 each and let me tell you they were hot and ready to go. I rushed home took a bite of the Pork Tamale and almost fell out. Great people and yes out of this world Tamales. I was only able to eat 1 out of the 8 but I promise you this they will not go to waste. Will be eating the rest this evening!!!!!!!!

Amazing! These are the best tacos I have had in NC. We tried all of the tacos and each one was better than the last. The meat is quality and the spicy salsa is perfection. The space is cute and clean. Everyone who works there is very nice. Also, you can buy tortillas and tamales next door. 10/10

Super no-frills store front, just damn good tamales. $3.5 per, each about 6″ long, 3″ wide and delicious. I got the pork, which was perfect, and the cheese and jalapeno, which was also perfect. Moist, hefty, no dry pockets.

Tacos were quite delicious, a lot of meat on them compared to some other places I’ve eaten recently. Flavours were phenomenal and salsas were terrific. Picked up some tamales in the front while I was there, which were also fantastic and packed full of ingredients. They were out of tortillas, lucky me I’ll have to come back for some tomorrow and get some more to eat while I’m there.

The tamales are delicious and quite large. We purchased the chicken and pork tamales. The chicken variety is mildly spicy because it has a green chili sauce inside. Both varieties are so full of flavor. It might help to know a little Spanish when interacting with the staff. We will be back!

A year ago, I said, “These are the best tamales I’ve ever had!“ I wish I could still say that. The flavor is there, but the meat filling is about half what it used to be. We won’t be getting them again. They are mostly corn meal.
