We are a family-owned business operating in and around the San Antonio community making Tamales for almost a decade. This is our first physical restaurant and we are more than excited to bring you inside to have a full tamale experience. The intent is to bring you in with the tamales but then introduce you to the whole culture with safe table dining and cafe options.

The food was pretty good. I’m just a little picky when it comes to cheese enchiladas. They use American cheese instead of cheddar. The green salsa was good but could have been hotter. Salsa for the chips was really good and flavorful.

I ordered their special of two pork chops with rice and beans. The pork chops and rice were very good. The beans were terrible and I did not eat them. They were very dry and seemed possibly old. Also, I was overcharged at the register by $3. I let them know that the beans were not good. Overall I would say it’s a nice place in terms of atmosphere, however the food is so so in the prices are high not just for the area where it’s located but also for San Antonio in general.

Stopped by today. Omg! Freaking amazing! Chicharron toco picosito and phenomenal! Menudo great flavor and not greasy at all. Tried the pork tamale and de Rajasthan poblano. Wow! Will be buying some for Christmas. Coffee nice and hot and scrumptious! Small and quaint..so cute! Isle was our waitress top notch service!

This was my first time here , as a friend recommended this restaurant. I had the fideo loco special . It was good ,and very affordable. The waitress was awesome ,and very attentive. This restaurant is also very clean . I’ll go back again to try out other dishes .

By far and wide the best tamales in San Antonio, however, it appears they’re not making tamales anymore? The rest of their food is just not as good as other options in San Antonio, even other options nearby, and it’s otherwise expensive for what you actually get.

I had the beef enchilada platter and also ordered a single pork tamale. All the food came out quickly and was hot. The flavors of the food were very good. The tamale was small but had a good flavor. The only negative would be the tortillas. They were a bit on the tough side but did taste good. They have a good selection of items and a large selection of tacos. I will be back for another try.
