This is such a nice place to eat! The older woman that waited on us was absolutely fabulous! She was a very kind and funny woman. She tended to all of our lunch needs. It was almost as if she was refilling my drink as I was drinking it. We had kind of a big group with us at the time and our food still came out quickly. Everything was delicious. I was really impressed with the overall feel of being in the restaurant. It’s very well decorated and just a nice place to be. You will not be disappointed if you stop by for a bite to eat.

I’m rating this based on my most recent experience. I really enjoyed my meal, spaghetti with their homemade sauce, salad, garlic bread, sweet tea, (I took some home and got a second meal off of it. )

I brought my ESA dog in with me. Owner was mean and rude to me loudly in front of everyone. Accused me of feeding my dog under the table when I hadn’t. There were many other customers and she was very rude and loud in order to humiliate me on purpose. I will never go back. I’m a good person and a Christian. I didn’t deserve that treatment. I’d never treat someone like that. If she had an issue with me, she should have spoken to me in order to not embarrass me.

Sign may not be flashing bright, but this place has some of the best food. We had the chicken and dumpling special, delicious and they give you two sides with it. The sweet potato casserole is to die for!

Took a lady for a date here and although I didn’t like that prices were listed on the menu, it was okay because the food was good. We had a good time and I highly recommend them when they aren’t busy. It’s moderately quiet, enough to keep a conversation but they have music so it’s not awkwardly quiet. Highly recommend and may eat here in the future.

You know how people talk about finding that place next to the road that doesn’t look too fancy but has amazing food? This is one those. The menu is traditional American fare, but everything we had was done just right. Pinto beans aren’t haute cuisine, unless you eat them here. BBQ? We’ll, I don’t want to start a fight with my Texas family, but this vinegar based pulled pork was better than any pork BBQ that’s come out of the lone star state. I bet pigs line up for the chance to participate. Even if you don’t have room, get a piece of the Pig Pickin Cake. It’s light, and citrus based, and just what you need. If you make it to Frazier Bottom, be sure you stop.

My wife and I spent nearly $40.00 and that is the worst meal I’ve ever tried to eat! My Italian sub had a big portion of the meat burnt black. As for the bun , it was so over toasted I couldn’t bite the ends! The Chile was fair, the iced tea was the best part of the meal. Never again!
