I cannot understand the rating this place has. I am aware I’m spoiled from being on the Gulf Coast with TexMex made by people of actual Latin descent. This was some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. The queso was clearly canned cheese sauce with rotel tossed in. Our fajitas were dry to the point of being inedible; NONE OF IT WAS SEASONED! Look at the pictures. No salt on chips. No seasoning on any meat or veggies; which were only onions, with a tiny sliver of a pepper. The shrimp were still in shells, lol!!!! Holy guacamole run away from this place.

Like another poster, I have no idea how this place has good ratings. Our service was absolutely abysmal. There were only 4 tables including ours and two wait staff. I had to physically get up and get the dressing for my salad because neither of the staff came back. We werent offered refills though our drinks were empty for our meal. I had to physically flag them down for the check, flag them down to come take the payment, and walk up to retrieve my change because they didn’t come to the table. When I got in the car I realized the young man didn’t give me back part of my change either and kept a few dollars.

This was our first time and here and will definitely make this one of our go to spots!!! Great service, great food, nice size portions. Everything was amazing from the appetizers, to the entrees and the margaritas were all flavorful and delicious. Free fresh tortilla chips and house made salsa and the homemade guacamole were also amazing and the prices were very reasonable.

First time eating here, came for a group event. Good staples of Mexican food, enjoyable atmosphere, excellent service, and had a blast hanging out with some solid people! I loved the sampler platter, the chicken wings were crunchy and super flavorful, the taquitos were amazing, the guac was fresh and delicious, and the Carnitas meal I got was pretty good although I wish it had a bit more flavor. The rice and beans it came with were regular, but I am Puerto Rican and have a slightly higher standard there haha. The Sangria and beer were flowing heartily amongst us, and I heard the the Tampico Grill Margarita was exceptionally good.

My Mom & I were visiting Maryland & we were looking for a place to grab some dinner & found Tampico! Our waitress was so sweet & our food was delicious! Definitely recommend the burrito bowl here, it was so good & very filling!
