Tam’s is a pleasant surprise tucked away in Lawrence. From the outside you wouldn’t think it’s a restaurant but as soon as you park and get out of your car the smells tell you right away you’re in for a treat. The food is great. The service is great. I had the grilled cheese with the jalapeno jam and it was delightful. Cannot wait to get back over for lunch again. If you’re looking for a place to sit down, slow down, and eat a great meal, Tam’s is the spot.

My new favorite place for breakfast/brunch!! I had their chorizo biscuit and gravy special. It’s so hard to find good gravy, and theirs was delicious Also had their cold brew with special vanilla mix and it was delicious. Loved sitting out on the back porch.

This place looks like cute little home turned into a restaurant. The chorizo biscuits and gravy was good! It came out hot with plenty of gravy. My husband has the meat quiche special. I had their iced coffee with their specialty creamer. The iced coffee was okay buy enjoyable enough. The cherry Danish was super good. Everyone was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves.

What a gem Tam’s is. Very cute house in Oaklandon. Outside dining in front & back. We split the egg salad sandwich, and a wedge salad. Since there’s no such thing as too much blue cheese Tam’s puts it in their egg salad. It was over the top goodness! The staff was great. Top all that off with good strong coffee, and it makes Tam’s a definite redo!

I write this review in the comforts of a home. You may ask yourself who cares? Well, you should! What I mean is that the atmosphere of Tams is so relaxing and home-like that when you eat here you feel like you are eating at home. From the welcoming staff treating you like family to the home-made food. Your mindset is just consistently at ease. However service and atmosphere is just a small glimpse of what we seek as we try to delight our palette with delicious and nutritious foods. At Tams not only will you do that but you will be left craving for more despite your stomach saying “Hey guys I’m stuffed!”

The wonderful aromas from the open kitchen woke my stomach up walking back through the tiny house/restaurant to the sweet back patio. The food was delicious (I had the veggie quiche), and amazing coffee was generously served in oversized cups. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable – highly recommend! I will be back!!!
