Everything about this place was great. I’ve never had real ramen. And after having it I’ll never go back to noodles and a package again. The food was very delicious and flavorful. And atmosphere was wonderful.

Got the pork rice bowl and it was delicious also had the 5 piece fried chicken appetizer (I forgot the actual name, something with a K) and it was also amazing the spicy Mayo went so well with it. The food is a bit pricey but with huge portions so 100% worth the price I ate the leftovers for dinner and still have a whole 3rd portion left. As you can see in the pics I also got a side of spicy Mayo which I mixed in to the bowl, they charge 75 cents for the spicy Mayo which feel like their nickel and dimming us but for the added flavor it was worth it. I visited Tanaka Ramen for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. I walked in just to get Boba, but because I was paying with a card I was told I must spend a $10 minimum. I had no major issue with this and figured it would be nice to try the food as well since it was my first time visiting. I ordered the Karaage Don, which is described as “Seasoned fried chicken with green onions, broccoli, corn, and half-seasoned egg”. The cost of this bowl is $14.88 + Boba totaling $22. Unfortunately the bowl was an unseasoned combination of fried chicken with a spicy mayo drizzle, plus a bed of bland white rice with veggies. Also the portion of food for the price is a rip-off. I had 3 mid size pieces of chicken in my bowl. Additionally, the Boba was just mediocre. Overall I would not visit this place again, not saying it was awful, but I’d rather spend my money on food with flavor that is made with love. I wish the best for this place. If they can adjust their menu descriptions and cooking methods, they will succeed.

I’ve been here several times now. Also ordered take out several times. Delicious food. Lots of unique appetizers and all of the ones I’ve tried so far are very tasty. Both the rice bowls and ramen bowls are filling and delicious. Friendly service. Restaurant is decorated in a very cute anime theme. Prices are average for this type of cuisine.

I love the atmosphere, you are pretty much surrounded by Pokémon, paper lanterns and pop Japanese culture. The spicy vegan ramen was so good, as were the edamame and seaweed salad appetizers! I stayed at the Aloft less than a mile away and was happy to be able to visit Tanaka Ramen twice during my four night stay.

The pork bun was delicious. I recommend getting two. The chicken ramen was flavorful with just the right amount of toppings. But the best part was stepping into the place. The decorations were fun to see. The pokemon figures just put a smile on my face. Great place for lunch or a date night.
