Everything is brown, litterly, even the curtains.

It was my first time at Tandoori Grill. I was in a hurry so I didn’t get to stay long. However, the service was prompt and friendly. I wish I didn’t have to leave right away it was open mic night, and the participant doing his set was pretty good..

The best Indian food I’ve ever had. Savory flavors, quality ingredients, nice and cozy atmosphere, amazing service. One of my favorite places to eat in Boulder. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine or is looking for some delicious comfort food.

Excellent entree! However, If I based my experience off of the samosa it would be 2 stars. They were nearly cold, the pastry was extremely tough, and the corners were very dense. It most definitely had been sitting out for a while, evident by how quickly it was brought out after ordering. BUT… the chicken karahi was probably some of the best I’ve had. The chicken was extremely tender thigh meat and the whole dish was well spiced. The naan was excellent. I will most certainly come here again (though I will skip the appetizers). I definitely recommend.

My favorite restaurant in boulder!!! Place is awesome after a hike or bike. I love this place and come here all the time. Get the all you can eat buffet the quality is top notch. Seriously though one of the best Indian joints in town, so far the best I’ve been to. Really good prices too. Try the no name bar next door too!

The food was delicious and just as I was hoping for. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. The set up is simple but elegant. The lighting is slightly dim. Don’t be intimidated by the price the servings are generous. I will definitely be back.

I usually order from another restaurant in town on the advice of a classmate from India, but went for this one for a change of pace today. Nice folks, reasonable price, but there’s something about the flavor profile that just doesn’t work for me. I ordered a dahl dish with black lentils and kidney beans, but it tasted legitimately like American chili. Not sure if it’s authentic to a specific region and I’m just a dumb American or if it’s truly anomalous. The veg korma is ok, and the special saag decent. The sweet potato and brussel samosa just tasted weird and overly sweet, as did the mint chutney. There was also in the restaurant an overwhelming odor of liquid smoke (and i was wearing a mask when i went in!). Might be in the lentil dish… Idk. The food is not horrible, i think there’s just some spice i don’t like, or artificial sweetener, and the liquid smoke. Oh, but the mango lassi is great so there’s at least that! Even so, I’m gonna go back to my other spot next time i do takeout.

I don’t do bad reviews, but this case made an exception.

One of Boulder’s best Indian restaurants. Even the take-out is exceptional. Be sure to try the homemade mango lassi.
