Visiting the Carlsbad area looking for good Indian food? Tandoori Palace is an excellent choice! No wait, no reservation required on a Saturday night. We ordered onion bahji, mild butter chicken, spicy shrimp saag, and garlic naan. The butter chicken was perfect for my kids who don’t do well with spicy dishes, and my husband said the spicy shrimp saag was perfectly hot but didn’t mask the flavor. The staff was attentive and very polite. Highly recommend!

We ordered the Vegetable Pakora as an appetizer. Then we got the Chef’s Naan basket which had: a mixture of plain naan, garlic naan & cheese naan. Then for the main course we got Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Tiki Marsala. We also were supposed to get the Malai Kofta but the waiter it was his 3rd day so he messed it up and never put it on our order. Anyways we didn’t pay for it so it was chill. The Gobi Manchurian was spicy for me so we got a yogurt sauce to dip everything in. Also I feel like they shorted us on the rice as well. Other than that all the food was very good.

This is the best Indian food in north county San Diego. Our family regularly orders take out, and it’s perfect because I am gluten free. They have so many good options. We just ate in person, and it was great. We love the atmosphere. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is incredible.

This place is incredible! The food is full of spices and flavor, the music is very soothing , they had 4 separate servers check on our table during our meal. they brought out candles to set the mood and our wine glasses never saw the bottom, we will be back again.
