Tangiers has the most delicious Mediterranean food around, especially for take out. The desserts are to die for, especially the Baklava, which is made by the mother of the young men running the business. The atmosphere is lovely. Many customers return daily, and the manner in which they are received is truly lovely.

This is a marketplace with a small dine in area – counter seating with a few tables. The food here is what I believe to be very authentic, and I come here repeatedly because it is so good. My usual is a gyro along with stuffed grape leaves with lamb and rice filling. I also get some of the best baklava for a tasty ending to the meal. Plus, while I am waiting for the food to be cooked I wander the store for some other wonderful delights to bring home and eat later.

These are the best falafel in the history of falafel!! I’ve had falafel in London, D. C., NYC, Texas and these are still hands down, the best!! The new location is bright clean and organized. The owners are so kind and friendly. They are passionate about their food. I was told that this was an old family recipe. 10/10 highly recommend

Tangiers is a market that has middle eastern/Mediterranean staples. From hummus to grape leaves, Tangier has it all. The highlight of this market is the grill located in the back of the market. The lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The falafel is my favorite item on the menu. So flavorful you would forget it was vegetarian. The sandwiches are $8 but worth every penny.
