A wonderfully quiet, clean, and tastefully laid out little spot off Clinton, with some really exceptional pho! I went for the Vegan Hue Soup. Vegetables super fresh – soup itself just dialed in. Amazing flavor. No joke; authentic as it gets. Had to test their Banh Mi which did not disappoint – again phenomenal flavor and freshness. I was also really impressed with the quick service and very courteous server. I highly recommend it to experience proper Vietnamese cuisine in SE.

Got take-out here hoping to beat the heat with vermicelli and sandwiches, and got the sweet potato fries because how could we not? The vegan char siu vermicelli was amazing!! the banh mi was perfect.

It is not a stretch for me to say this the worst food we’ve had in a long while. The Vietnamese chicken wings were soggy, gooey, and smelled musty. We didn’t finish them. The spicy beef soup broth had an off flavor, almost like it was starting to spoil. The noodles were way over cooked. They were basically mush. Unfortunately, after a few bites, we couldn’t stand to eat any more. The pot stickers were okay. On to the rice and grilled pork. The rice was okay. The pork was full of gristle and fat. It tasted like frozen grocery store food. On top of the poor food quality, we had poor service. We had to ask for eating utensils… after our food was provided and the waiter walked away to the front of the restaurant where there were no waiting guests! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great, authentic food. Good service. Great atmosphere — located in a large beautiful old house (where Abyssinian Kitchen used to be — another great restaurant that is now on Alberta St).

Good food. Restaurant looks like it was converted from a home. Small dining area but pleasant. Staff was friendly. We went here because we didn’t want to wait for Korean food at another restaurant for 2 hours. Parking is street parking. We were lucky we found one when we arrived.

Great food and super nice people. I accidentally left my purse and they kept it safe until I could return to collect it

For the price and speed, it’s a great/reliable neighborhood staple. I have only ever ordered take out but they’re always extremely fast with preparing my order (they consistently beat the estimated time!) and it’s always good quality. Not the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Portland but contextually a very good option that I come back to time and again.

Simply great, flavorful food. We get the tofu buns and salad wraps and they are consistently delightful.

This place seems very new, which is lucky cause I didn’t have to wait for a table. I got the combination beef pho & it was delicious, I could taste the quality of the meat they use. They have an adorable covered front porch if outdoor seating is important to you.
