Tanner’s Bar & Grill is a staple sports bar in our community. As a Denver Broncos fan in the KC area it can sometimes be difficult to get an establishment to show my beloved Broncos. Never an issue at this Tanners. Svet, Angie, and Amber have all been very accommodating each and every visit.

We had a bigger party on the side area. Our server Katie was incredible. Such an on-point genuinely friendly and attentive server. We had probably 15 people and she always called us all by our names. But not like looking at her tablet to get the name right- very genuine! She knew my name right after she asked. Suggested fruity bar drinks for my friends who didn’t know what they wanted. Food is always good. Great atmosphere. But try to get Katie as your server and your night will be awesome!

Came into town for the NFL Draft and got to spend some time at Tanners. First of all, a remarkable gem outside main KC. The biggest factor was our server Katie. She was extremely attentive who consistently and promptly was there to take orders for drinks and food. She was amazing, on a level that you do not find in the service industry these days. She was so proficient and professional, it was almost magic that as soon as we were in need, there she was. She is witty and a great conversationalist. Absolutely highly impressed with this place. And Katie was a big part of that reason. I very much look forward to coming back at every opportunity. If you are looking for a fun but low-key mellow establishment, I highly recommend. Ask for Katie as your server and it’s impossible to be disappointed. You’ll have an amazing time. 5 stars to the max.

My mother got the Big Bang Shrimp and said it smelled like it had gone rotten. I received a rock hard baked potato. We tried some of the other things we had ordered but weren’t able to get more than a few bites in of any of the items we received because it was extremely old or had gone bad. I had to throw it all out. It’s too bad because we usually order several dishes and have it over a few days. We ordered three hours before the kitchen closed so I know it wasn’t a scramble to make our order. I feel physically ill several hours after eating what I was able to.

Spacious hangout spot with a long bar and a lot of tables. Played the basketball arcade game then hung out on the patio for a long time. We had to order from the bar each time we wanted a beer because no servers ever came to us. Then when I paid $9.00 for the plain fried chicken lips, it does not even come with a side of fries. All sides are extra. They were crispy good but really no side.

I ordered the Salmon salad today and my salmon was undercooked. The thicker part was raw. The thinner part flaky. I didn’t wanna deal with the questions and or bother to go back over there. But for 16 dollars for a salad I’d expect it to be done.

Last night, we had a very nice dinner!!! Cheese balls, I had the Philly, husband a cheese burger and daughter had the Mac & cheese bacon grilled cheese! Fries were hot and everything was delicious! Great service
